Data
Programs and activities are strengthened when the people who design and operate them are familiar with the evidence about past programs, understand student performance measures, and seek insights from educators working with students. In short, we can improve our education and workforce systems by analyzing data and tailoring programs to meet the specific needs of each school and community.
For Succeed 2020, this means all REAs look at a set of common data points called the common metrics as well as local, regional, and school-specific data to tailor activities to the needs of their communities. These data are combined with observations and on-the-ground expertise to help REAs and school districts identify challenges, design solutions, and measure improvement.
